With the pandemic that has effected Australia and the poor weather conditions that we have experienced the fishing has at most been put on hold.
For those that have had the chance to do some fishing have reported that it is quiet at the moment.
With the water temp low at the moment the fish are in hibernation except for the flathead and salmon.
As the water temp climbs we will see the species count grow.
Lets hope that it will be sooner then later and that the pandemic subsides to the point where we can fish and enjoy our boating .
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The season has started and Dean and his son Luke have opened it in style.
The snapper Dean caught was 5kg and the one Luke has went 7.4kg.

The first snapper of the season. Lets hope there are more like this to come.
Well done Jim.

With the lockdown in regards to covid not much is happening on the fishing front.
The positive out come with this situation is that our fish stocks can grow and when it comes time to get out and wet a line we should be able to catch good numbers of fish.
Until then stay safe.
